Une fausse information circule actuellement sur les réseaux sociaux, prétendant que toute personne trouvée dans la rue entre 8h et 11h le jour du Salongo serait arrêtée. Ce message, attribué au Maire de la ville de Goma, KATEMBO Julien, a été formellement démenti par l’autorité urbaine.
Dans une interview, le Maire de Goma a dénoncé un audio mensonger diffusé, selon lui, par « des ennemis du développement ». Il a appelé la population à faire preuve de vigilance face à la désinformation qui se propage sur les plateformes numériques.
« Ce message ne reflète en rien les décisions de l’autorité urbaine. Il s’agit d’une manipulation », a précisé le Maire.
L’autorité rappelle que dans la ville de Goma, le Salongo se tient chaque samedi de 6h00 à 10h00. Les véhicules, bus et motos transportant les élèves ou les agents de l’État sont autorisés à circuler jusqu’à 8h00, sans être inquiétés par les forces de l’ordre.
Le Maire a également souligné que les fidèles adventistes conservent leur droit de se rendre librement à l’église le samedi, conformément à la liberté de culte.
Enfin, il appelle la population à ne pas céder à la panique, à vérifier l’origine des informations avant de les partager, et à continuer à s’impliquer activement dans les efforts communautaires pour l’assainissement et le développement de la ville.
