Le seul guichet officiel de la BK se trouve côté Rwanda (Gisenyi), dans le bâtiment migratoire, et il existe depuis longtemps.
Côté RDC (Goma), il n’existe aucun guichet BK. Ce qui a été créé récemment est un bureau de change (forex), sans lien avec la BK.
Les affirmations selon lesquelles « les recettes du M23 » seraient déposées chaque jour dans une supposée BK à Goma relèvent donc de la désinformation.
